{"id":671,"date":"2022-03-29T19:54:20","date_gmt":"2022-03-29T19:54:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/careers.stjulies.org.uk\/?p=671"},"modified":"2022-03-29T19:54:20","modified_gmt":"2022-03-29T19:54:20","slug":"nhs-allied-healthcare-work-experience-session-on-sunday-3rd-april-chargeable-10-per-session","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/careers.stjulies.org.uk\/index.php\/2022\/03\/29\/nhs-allied-healthcare-work-experience-session-on-sunday-3rd-april-chargeable-10-per-session\/","title":{"rendered":"NHS Allied Healthcare Work Experience session on Sunday 3rd April (Chargeable &#8211; \u00a310 per session)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Students who wish to participate in the NHS Allied Work Experience session by Medic Mentor on Sunday 3rd April have until Friday 1st April to register.<br><br>The programme is available for year groups:<br><br>10-12 &#8211; England &amp; Wales<br>S3-S5 &#8211; Scotland<br>11-13 &#8211; Northern Ireland<br><br>Students can register via this link:<br><a href=\"https:\/\/alliedhealthmentor.org\/nhs-healthcare-careers-virtual-work-experience\/\">https:\/\/alliedhealthmentor.org\/nhs-healthcare-careers-virtual-work-experience\/<\/a><br><br>All students will be awarded a Work Experience Certificate for participating in the day &#8211; a great addition to their UCAS and Apprenticeship Applications.<br><br>The Work Experience day on Sunday 3rd April will cover the following healthcare careers:<br><br>&#8211; Nursing<br>&#8211; Midwifery<br>&#8211; Paramedicine<br>&#8211; Physiotherapy<br>&#8211; Occupational Therapy<br>&#8211; Dietetics<br>&#8211; Radiography<br>&#8211; Prosthetics and Orthotics<br>&#8211; Speech and language therapy<br>&#8211; Pharmacy<br><br>This will take place through an online portal and run LIVE from 10am-5pm, following 2 patients from accident to recovery.<br><br>Students will see these patients interact with a variety of healthcare professionals listed above.
