These updates will help families stay informed and support students in making confident decisions about future education and career options. <a href=\"http:\/\/careers.stjulies.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Parent-Guide-Apprenticeships-PDF.pdf\">Click here to read a short guide for parents and carers regarding apprenticeships<\/a>. To support this, we would like to highlight the following useful resources:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>A-Levels, T-Levels or Apprenticeships? \u2013 2026 Guide<\/strong><br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.learningcubs.co.uk\/resources\/apprenticeships-vs-t-levels-vs-a-levels\">This guide<\/a> helps students and parents understand the key differences between post-16 options, including academic and technical routes, to support informed decision-making. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ultimate Guide to Apprenticeships from 2026<\/strong><br><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/NauOFpiuz34\">This short but engaging video<\/a> offers a clear overview of how apprenticeships work from 2026 onwards, including levels, entry requirements and progression opportunities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Apprenticeships Explained \u2013 What You Need to Know (Student Information)<\/strong><br>A <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/GYRm0TcBbek?si=yKYLNeP1Wy7ZAly0\">student-friendly introduction<\/a> explaining what an apprenticeship is, how training is structured and what to expect as an apprentice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Support for apprentices with a learning difficulty or disability<\/strong><br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.apprenticeships.gov.uk\/apprentices\/learning-difficulties-disabilities-support\">This resource<\/a>\u00a0outlines the support available to apprentices with additional needs, including reasonable adjustments and financial support; and <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/POJ8NVDP2m8?si=Ara9Gp59bt8Z0s4M\">this short video<\/a>\u00a0is a\u00a0 helpful guide for SEND students and their families, focusing on the application process and the support available before and during an apprenticeship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We encourage students\u00a0and parents to explore these resources and engage with the information shared throughout the week.
