There are some resources that are really helpful no matter what stage of education you’re at.
StartProfile
‘StartProfile’ allows students to discover career pathways, develop their employability skills and explore their future career and study options from school or at home as it is accessible from desktop computers and mobile devices. Each student can personalise their profile with details about their interests, skills, personal qualities and potential work preferences. From this starting point, they can continue to update their profile in order to explore careers information matched to their personal preference and interests. Not only will Start help students to learn more about jobs, courses, providers and opportunities available to them; it will also help them to understand where they are on their journey; and to consider what is important as they make choices relating to Post 16 and Post 18 study.
