{"id":944,"date":"2022-12-14T19:04:29","date_gmt":"2022-12-14T19:04:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/careers.stjulies.org.uk\/?p=944"},"modified":"2022-12-14T19:04:29","modified_gmt":"2022-12-14T19:04:29","slug":"virtual-work-experience-law","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/careers.stjulies.org.uk\/index.php\/2022\/12\/14\/virtual-work-experience-law\/","title":{"rendered":"Virtual Work Experience: Law"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The aim of the virtual work experience programme is to widen access to legal work experience and provide a unique insight into law and Kennedys.\u00a0\u00a0The programme gives students the opportunity to complete legal work experience virtually, completing real life tasks created by Kennedys&#8217; trainees\u00a0and apprentices. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout the programme, students will gain legal analytical skills, develop legal knowledge of the insurance industry, and learn critical legal communication, research, and drafting skills that will help set them up for their future career in law.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are four tasks to complete from each of their core practice areas of <a href=\"https:\/\/kennedyslaw.com\/our-expertise\/services\/insurance-and-claims\/\">insurance<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/kennedyslaw.com\/our-expertise\/services\/defendant-personal-injury\/\">liability<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/kennedyslaw.com\/our-expertise\/sectors\/healthcare\/\">healthcare<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/kennedyslaw.com\/our-expertise\/services\/corporate-and-commercial\/\">commercial.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme takes around six hours and can be completed at students&#8217; own pace.\u00a0Once complete, students will receive a certificate that they can reference on their CV.\u00a0The\u00a0 programme is free and open to all students and graduates, from a law or non-law background and no legal experience is required. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the programme is virtual, the work experience can be completed at students&#8217; own pace from any location.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/kennedyslaw.com\/careers-at-kennedys\/early-careers\/virtual-work-experience\">Click here for more information<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The aim of the virtual work experience programme is to widen access to legal work experience and provide a unique insight into law and Kennedys.\u00a0\u00a0The programme gives students the opportunity to complete legal work experience virtually, completing real life tasks created by Kennedys&#8217; trainees\u00a0and apprentices.
