Are you interested in the world of technology? Does the idea of designing games, developing apps and websites or exploring cybertechnology appeal to you? Do you like problem-solving and challenges? Are you aged 14-18 and in Years 10-13? Then this online virtual event may interest you. It’s happening this Sunday via Zoom from 10 – 4 and costs \u00a315<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Tech Mentor No-Code Hackathon is a hands-on, team-based virtual event where students will have the chance to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Build their own app to solve a real-world challenge, with no code needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Develop essential skills like problem-solving, teamwork, and creativity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Create a portfolio of work they can showcase for jobs, apprenticeships, or university applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Explore the wide variety of career opportunities in tech, from app development to green energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Work in a safe, supportive environment where mistakes are part of the learning process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event is open to students aged 14\u201318 (Years 10\u201313 \/ S3\u2013S6 \/ Northern Irish Years 11\u201314) and is designed to be accessible to everyone,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– The hackathon will be fully online via Zoom, running from 10am to 4pm (UK GMT).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Students will work in teams to tackle a surprise real-world challenge using no-code platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– They\u2019ll be guided by experienced mentors who will support them throughout the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Each participant will receive a certificate of participation<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– The cost is \u00a315 per student, which covers platform and administration costs.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Winners from this hackathon will be invited to the National Finals on 11th July 2026, where they\u2019ll compete for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– 1st Place: \u00a31,000 for the winning team and \u00a3100 to each winning team member\u2019s school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– 2nd Place: \u00a3750 cash prize for the team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– 3rd Place: \u00a3500 cash prize for the team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students will be allocated to random groups on the day to keep the competition fair and enhance your networking experience! This is a chance for you to meet likeminded students beyond your school environment and start building your Tech Network! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
