This is a fantastic opportunity for students to build a strong portfolio of healthcare experience and gain insight into the NHS interdisciplinary team. No previous experience is necessary!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Registrations for the next session close on Friday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The next session will take place virtually on Sunday 6th August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Registration Link: https:\/\/alliedhealthmentor.org\/product\/live-virtual-work-experience-programme\/<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the work experience day, students will follow 2 patients from their initial presentation to recovery. They will gain a unique insight into how patients interact with a variety of healthcare professionals and what it\u2019s like to work in an NHS multidisciplinary team. This includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Nursing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Midwifery<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Paramedicine<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Physiotherapy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Occupational Therapy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dietetics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Radiography<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prosthetics and Orthotics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Speech and Language Therapy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pharmacy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Attendees will interact with healthcare professionals throughout each day. This will empower students to make informed career decisions and demonstrate their commitment to healthcare in their UCAS applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once they\u2019ve registered, students will be emailed links to their virtual work experience portals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Places are \u00a310 a session to cover administrative and technological costs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Please be aware that this is a chargeable opportunity at \u00a310 per session.
