The NHS Careers Untapped programme is a free initiative created by a group of London NHS organisations and NHS England to inspire young people aged 13–19 to explore the wide range of careers available in healthcare. Hosted on the Healthcare Horizons website, it offers podcasts, videos, webinars, and interactive activities that highlight lesser-known NHS roles.
This free platform consists of resources which have been designed for young people aged 13 and over who want to learn more about their chosen profession, get university application tips or simply find out more about all the rewarding careers on offer in the health sector. Students can work at their own pace, explore their dream career or access multiple resources to get a greater insight into the health sector. The interactive courses give learners access to helpful resources and the reflective journal allows them to record all key learning points for future reference.
