Students with aspirations of careers in medical physics will want to know about a work experience opportunity becoming available at Clatterbridge Cancer Centre expected to take place in the week commencing 28th August 2023.
Students would be spending some time shadowing the team in the medical physics department. This experience aims to provide the students with a good introduction to the medical physics profession, this covers topics such as a healthcare scientists role in disciplines such as radiotherapy and imaging techniques such as MRI, ultrasound and CT. Applicants should have a keen interest in science subjects and a curiosity about how they can be applied in a healthcare setting.
