We’ve had updates in from Springpod about work experience opportunities that are closing soon, as well as some new on-demand opportunities that are available:
Having been extended from their deadline earlier in the month, today will be the last day for to apply a lot of our programmes that started in October.
This includes programmes from:
– The British Library: This programme focuses on a range of transferable skills that will be handy for anyone looking to go to university or start working.
– Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust: We have two programmes available with the Newcastle NHS trust, where students can either learn about how a hospital operates, or our more specific programme, exploring the Cardiology department and other related skills.
– Prét A Manger: This programme focuses on product development at the fundamental level, so any student that is interested in product development of any kind will find this programme beneficial.
These are handy opportunities for students to undertake while school is running down for the term, using their extra spare time to build skills and experience, which will look great in their CVs, personal statements and interviews!
2.New on-demand programmes
Our On-Demand programmes are great for the upcoming break. While similar to our existing programmes, the main difference is that there are no live events, with webinars being recorded ahead of time. This gives students more flexibility to learn at their own pace, allowing them to enjoy a well-deserved Christmas break while also continuing with their future development.
Our new range of on-demand programmes includes:
– Aviation & Aerospace with the CAA
– BNSSG NHS: Nursing and Healthcare Careers
– BNSSG NHS: Non-Clinical Health Care Careers
– Aster Group – The World of a Housing Developer & Social Landlord
– Chartered Institute of Logistics: There is a lot more to logistics than driving one place to another, it also includes planning, sourcing and other background activities. This programme aims to teach your students what these activities are, providing a full understanding of the world of logistics.
– Kör: Careers at Volvo Trucks: This programme guides students through the world of vehicle manufacturing, focusing on some of the key skills that are highly sought after in the industry, helping them stand out from the crowd. Not just this but as industry leaders of safety and quality, Volvo make some of the best tutors around for those interested in the industry.
